Gulf Coast Writers with treasurer-ed

Fran Keiser and Jane Wood with Don Cappelli, Treasurer of the Gulf Coast Writers

Jane and Fran had a great time this past Saturday sharing information on how to market books with members of the Gulf Coast Writers Association. Wow! What an awesome group of dynamic and talented writers and authors they have in the Ft. Meyers, Florida area. We hope to be invited back to give a more  extensive and detailed 4-hour workshop on marketing books, setting up a publishing business, or publishing children’s books.

Thanks to Gulf Coast Writers for inviting us!

Attending or participating in book festivals is a great way to network with other authors, learn from experienced writers in breakout sessions, or take advantage of vendor opportunities.

This weekend more than 80 authors will be participating in the Amelia Island Book Festival, February 21-22. Friday’s Writers Workshop will feature best-selling author David Baldacci at the closing session. Fees apply.

Saturday’s free Author Extravaganza will take place 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Atlantic Recreation Center at 2500 Atlantic Avenue in Fernandina Beach. Hope to see you there!
