Children’s Book Week

It’s time to celebrate Children’s Book Week, May 4-10, 2015. Children’s Book Week was established in 1919, and is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Some suggestions on how you can celebrate:

  • 2015_poster, Childrens Book WeekRe-read your favorite children’s book and recapture the magic.
  • Read to a child and share the magic with them.

Gulf Coast Writers with treasurer-ed

Fran Keiser and Jane Wood with Don Cappelli, Treasurer of the Gulf Coast Writers

Jane and Fran had a great time this past Saturday sharing information on how to market books with members of the Gulf Coast Writers Association. Wow! What an awesome group of dynamic and talented writers and authors they have in the Ft. Meyers, Florida area. We hope to be invited back to give a more  extensive and detailed 4-hour workshop on marketing books, setting up a publishing business, or publishing children’s books.

Thanks to Gulf Coast Writers for inviting us!
