Frances Keiser has fifteen years’ experience in the publishing industry, working in every facet of independent publishing. She is owner of Sagaponack Books, a micro publishing company founded in 1999.
Her company produces the pre-press work in-house including writing, illustrating, photo enhancing and correction, graphic design, interior book design, cover design, layout, and preparation of press-ready files. Her company also handles the post-production work of distribution, marketing, shipping, and invoicing for their books.

Jane R. Wood started her own publishing company, Florida Kids Press, Inc, in 2007, and she is the author of five award-winning juvenile fiction books. Jane has an extensive background in marketing, community relations, and education and uses her experience as a classroom teacher, newspaper reporter, and television producer in creating and promoting her books.
Wood earned a BA from the University of Florida and an M.Ed from the University of North Florida. She speaks at book festivals, education conferences, and schools across the country.

Beth Mansbridge is the lead copy editor for Get Book Savvy. She also has her own company, Mansbridge Editing & Transcription. The mission of her business is to help authors achieve their goals while retaining their voice and style. Many of her clients who have submitted their books to contests have won awards. Her business has thrived by word of mouth, and her clients are found throughout the world.
Beth supports the Florida Heritage Book Festival and Writers Conference. She facilitates the Professional Writers Group in St. Augustine, Florida, and she is a member of the Florida Writers Association and of the Editorial Freelancers Association of New York.
Kathy Shea works with Fran on book and ebook design and layout as well as database management and marketing for Get Book Savvy. She moved to Florida after a varied career that included working as an Associate Producer on major motion pictures (i.e., Cannonball Run, Last of the Mohicans, The Insider, Ali); working with teachers integrating technology in the classroom; and traffic, operations, and promotion for multiple local television stations.
Kathy has been a volunteer on the Publicity Committee of the Florida Heritage Book Festival since its first year. She is a member of the Florida Writers Association and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Ohio State University.
Hugh Keiser is our Photoshop Professional. A graduate of The Cooper Union in New York, Hugh is a classically trained artist who spent his earlier years working in mediums such as etchings, monoprints, lithographs, pen and ink, and acrylics. His current medium of choice is digital imaging using a stylus, tablet, two monitors, and an Apple computer.
Hugh is the founder and former owner of Keiser Associates in New York City, a prestigious architectural design firm of commercial planning. Most recently, he has illustrated eight books, including six award-winners, and a line of cards carried by Hallmark and other retail outlets.
Nicole Zaunbrecher is in her third year of interning with us. She is a senior at Flagler College (St. Augustine, FL) where she is studying for her B.A. with a major in English and minor in Creative Writing. Niki is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta academic honor society, Poetry Editor for Flare, Flagler College’s literary journal, and President of Ink Slingers, the creative writing club.
Nicole’s poems have been published in the America Library of Poetry as well as self-published by a classmate, she is a contributor to fanfiction websites, and she has her own blog: http://nicolemzaunbrecher.wordpress.com/.

Amie Runk is a graduate of Florida State University, where she double majored in Creative Writing and Mass Media Studies. She worked with us on social media consulting and management, graphic design, and Web design. Her portfolio includes work for authors, publishers, non-profits, and business entrepreneurs.
Amie’s background includes working for radio, event announcing, stage managing and technical work for a local theater.
Amie has gone on to take a position as Program Coordinator for the Askew Life Center at Florida State University.
